Cleveland Race Week 2010 Sponsorship

Cleveland Race Week (CRW) is the largest sailing regatta on Lake Erie and amongst the largest on the Great Lakes. This annual
event will celebrate its 30th year from June 19 - June 27, 2010, attracting more than 300 boats from across the Great Lakes and
beyond. Nationally, there are few sailing events that accommodate the large number of sailing classes you will find at CRW.

Established in 1980 as two separate events, CRW has developed into 10 days of racing and events based at Edgewater Yacht Club.
CRW draws over 3,000 national and international participants over the course of the entire event. There are many one design fleets
that participate including J/22, J/24, Farr 40, Beneteau 36.7, Dragon, Farr 30, J/105, Tartan 10, Highlander, Lightning, Ensign, and
Jet-14 classes. The Handicap (PHRF) Class weekend has nine racing divisions.

CRW continues to be the premier sailing regatta on Lake Erie, and has consistently maintained or increased participation while other
regattas in the region and nationally have seen significant reductions in the number of boats entered. In 2009, we secured
long-term support from Mount Gay Rum, the most recognized liquor sponsor for both national and international sailing regattas. This
sponsorship places Cleveland Race Week in the upper echelon of US sailing events and will greatly assist in building Cleveland Race
Week's status as a major regional regatta.
